I traveled to the One Voice Awards and conference last weekend to connect with my voiceover community and strut my stuff on the red carpet as a nominee. And while I didn’t bring home any trophies, I did return home with a shiny new agent!
I am thrilled to share I’ve landed a spot on the roster at DPN Talent.
Talent agent Vince LeBica and I connected at the conference. What a genuine and kind soul. We authentically clicked, mostly talking about life and the love we have for our careers. We chatted for two hours at the bar next to our gate at the DFW airport before we flew back to LA on Sunday, and he signed me three days later. I didn’t go to Dallas looking for an agent and yet somehow I was lucky enough to land the very best in the biz. Special shoutout to my dear friend and VO colleague Laya Hoffman too, who I later learned gave me a fiery in-person referral. A perfect lesson in the importance of surrounding yourself with people who will lift you up in the rooms you aren’t in.
